Parent Seminar: Same-Sex Attraction & Gender Identity

Parents of students in grades 5–12 are invited to join us for a two-week parent seminar centered on same-sex attraction and gender identity. These evenings are designed to support and encourage parents as we navigate meaningful and often complex conversations facing students and families today. 

Our Senior Pastor will share Trinity’s biblically rooted perspective on these topics:

• February 15 (6-8pm):  Same-sex Attraction
• February 22 (6-8pm):  Gender Identity

We will also walk through how common questions students are asking—such as “Why can’t we just agree that love is love?” and “Why does it matter if you’re a boy or a girl?”—will be thoughtfully addressed with students during Youth Group on March 8 and March 15 respectively.

Why this matters: Students are encountering these questions at younger ages and in many spaces—school, media, friendships, and online. Our hope is to partner with parents by offering clarity, shared language, and confidence so families feel equipped to continue these conversations at home, grounded in faith and love.

All parents are invited to attend.

Dinner and child care for younger siblings will be provided.
