Both Volunteers and Families are invited to join us as we kick off a new ministry year together!

For Volunteers: The morning will start with a brief training designed for all KidStreet and Youth volunteers that will cover important logistics, ministry updates, and expectations for the year ahead. We'll welcome new volunteers, introduce new resources and programs, review our respect culture, highlight handbook updates, discuss key dates and share important policy changes.

For Families: We will start the morning with a light breakfast buffet and an opportunity to meet your child's teachers and connect with other families. From there, we will share important logistical information to help your family get ready for a great ministry year, and we'll wrap up with a presentation for families and volunteers.

Both Volunteers and Families are invited to From Chaos to Connection: Practical Tools for Every Adult Who Cares for Kids, a presentation from Lexi Schmidt, Trinity Galewood's Children, Youth, and Family Site Coordinator. Together, we'll learn how to recognize what's happening beneath our emotions and behaviors, identify and name feelings, and use practical tools to move from reacting to responding. You'll leave with simple, actionable strategies you can use immediately to create calmer interactions, strengthen relationships, and foster resilience in yourself and the children you support.
