Prepare - TGT

Watching for Jesus to come again is not enough… we should also prepare our hearts and our lives. John told people to prepare for Jesus’ first coming. The event he was speaking of was not his birth but rather the beginning of his earthly ministry. He called people to repentance. Advent gives us a chance to step out of our normal lives and reflect and repent, and in doing so prepare our hearts and lives for Christmas and for him to come again We can use this Advent to reorient our lives moving forward so that they are aligned with His will for us every day.
