Youth Group (5th-12th Grade)

In Trinity Youth Groups, faith is lived out in community as students in grades 5–12 grow in their understanding of who God is while building meaningful, lasting friendships. During the school year, students meet for small groups, engaging discussions, and fun activities designed to help them grow in faith and friendships. And in the summer? We keep the fun going with social events and serving projects to stay connected.

Trinity's Youth Ministry helps students (grades 5–12) discover their place and purpose by focusing on:

  • Encountering God’s love through meaningful relationships with peers and adult mentors.

  • Understanding the big picture of the Bible and how it all points to Jesus and connects with their lives.

  • Owning their faith, moving from inherited belief to personal trust in Christ, and growing in their ability to articulate and defend core Christian (and Lutheran) truths.

  • Live it out by seeking Christian community and daily discipleship into adulthood.

Confirmation

A specific track that meets during Youth Group for students wishing to be confirmed. Rooted in God’s Word, confirmation is a time for students to deepen their understanding of the faith into which they were baptized and to prepare to publicly confess that faith. Students seeking confirmation commit to regular confirmation teaching, engage in worship through sermon reflection, serve others through service hours, participate in a confirmation retreat, and meet with a pastor for personal conversation and guidance. Through these practices, confirmation helps form lifelong disciples who trust in Christ and remain connected to His Church.

Sunday Morning Discussion Group

This group meets during the 10:00 am worship hour and is for students who regularly attend worship. We’ll make the sermon real by breaking it down in a way that’s relatable and meaningful. Students will explore how to put into practice what they’ve heard in everyday life.
